I arrived back in Kenya on September 18th to join JR, who had been here since June to start his Nairobi based job studying malaria. Pickle and I made the journey over in September and now, back together as a family, we are building our home and lives here now for the next few years.
To say this first few months here has been a bit wild would be a pretty big understatement.
The first few days were fairly uneventful - ran some errands, got aqcuainted with our surroundings and just enjoyed being all together as a family again.
Things became quite eventful a few days after my arrival when there was a terrorist attack on Westgate Mall , which is right down
the road from our house (less than half a mile). This event made getting settled a little bumpier than anticipated. Nevertheless, I have been delinquent in starting up my blog again - but now there are no longer any good excuses!
SO, now that we have had some time to settle, it's time to start sharing again....
